Brian Jameson

My name is Brian Jameson, and I am on the Taft City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors representing Aera Energy. I was born and raised right here in Taft and have also raised my Family here. I have two sons, Kyle and Zack, who also make their home here in Taft! I am also blessed with an awesome Wife, Carrie.

I have worked in the Oil Industry my whole career, starting back in 1983. I started out in Construction, where I learned the Pipeline Welder Trade. I owned my own Business as Jameson Welding from 1987 to 2002, starting with Unocal. In 1990, I started at ARCO, and worked there until 1998, which is the date that Aera Energy purchased Arco. I continued there until 2002 and decided to leave the Welding Career for a Career in Management. I served as an Operation Manager for a local Service Company from 2002 to 2011 specializing in Oil Well Abandonment. In 2011, I accepted a position with Aera Energy, where I am now a Process Specialist in Operations, overseeing Steam Generation, Sulfur Ox Facilities, and CVR Systems from Lost Hills to the Maricopa Flats.

While working with Aera Energy, my favorite part of my job is to serve the Community, and now serve as President of the WSPAC Committee, a committee formed by Aera Energy to help serve the West Side. We have a great team that is dedicated to making our community, often volunteering in Community Events.
