Jan Ashley

Jan Ashley is a retired Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner, after a career as a nurse for 42 years.  She has lived in Taft the majority of her life.  She attended all local schools from kindergarten - Taft College. Jan is the granddaughter to Tessie Garratt, who was Taft's first Councilwoman. 

Jan has taught school and has been a nurse and nurse practitioner in many different settings.  She is active in the community and serves on numerous boards.  Jan has been on the Chamber board off and on throughout the years and currently serves as the President. 

Currently, Jan also serves on the West Side Health Care District board and is teaching health career classes at Taft Union High School.
