Julie Franks

Julie has been a State Farm agent since 2003. She took over ownership of the office on Center Street when prior agent, Ken Duvall retired. She loves getting to know her customers and helping them develop an insurance plan that fits their unique needs.

Julie moved to Taft in 1975 after her family got the concession stands at Buena Vista Lake. She has fond memories of working at the lake from age 13 through her college years. She attended Taft High School and Taft College. She then moved to Bakersfield to finish her education at CSUB.

In 1995, Julie married Daryl Franks. They have two adult children, Audrey and Jake. Julie loves Taft and the wonderful people in it. She is a new member of the Taft Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has been serving on the Downtown Merchant Committee since 2015. She is the 2008-09 Past President for the Rotary Club of Taft. She looks forward to seeing Taft grow and appreciates the efforts that have been made to better the community.
