Member Tiers and Pricing

The Taft District Chamber of Commerce offers a simple, tiered membership system designed to fit businesses of all sizes. Membership dues are based on the number of full-time employees, making it fair and scalable whether you’re a solo entrepreneur or a growing company.

We also proudly support our local nonprofit organizations with a special flat membership rate of just $100 per year.

Membership dues paid to the Chamber are generally tax deductible as a business expense. According to IRS guidelines, these dues qualify as an “ordinary and necessary” expense if they are directly related to your business or trade. That means if you're joining the Chamber to support your business through networking, visibility, or advocacy, your membership is typically deductible. It’s important to note that Chamber dues are not considered charitable contributions, even if the Chamber operates as a nonprofit organization. As always, it’s a good idea to consult with your accountant or tax advisor to ensure the expense is classified correctly on your return and that you’re receiving the full benefit.
