Neddy Clark
My name is Needy Clark, I am from Yuma Arizona, and the owner of Erikson &a Brown Funeral Home. Also, I am a very proud mother to my three kids Katie, Cody, and Angel, and most of my time is spent working and spending quality time with my kids. I am, a retired school teacher and a Border Patrol Widow. I graduated from NAU Yuma with a Master’s Degree in education. I devoted most of my time to education for I loved being in the classroom. However, on May 12, 2011, tragedy struck my family and it became one of the darkest and most hurtful moments in our family’s life when I was informed at the school that my husband passed away in the line of duty. I had just lost my dad and losing my husband was traumatic It was at this time that my faith grew and I learned to understand God has a purpose in all of our lives. The first year after losing my husband my children and I attended many ceremonies honoring him and his partner. It was then that I became so passionate about helping others honor their loved ones. As I learned that life is short and we have to live it to the fullest. I moved to Taft six years ago when I purchased the funeral home. Our move to Taft has been a blessing as it brought back peace in our hearts and my kids have continued their education at Taft schools, two have continued their higher education at Taft College most importantly the small-town community feels like home.
